Hub 3 for part fibre

I’ve been sent a new hub3. The instructions only cover connecting fibre black or white boxes.

I am on  a copper  line fibre 65. Do I just keep the existing phone filters in place and connect straight to the broadband socket?

The instructions with the Hub 3 are not poor; they are wrong! I have raised this with TalkTalk as part of my testing.

Thank you @Gliwmaeden2 for assisting and @fr8ys for escalating. @Talkrouter let us know if you have connected the router and if there is anything else I can assist you with?

@Talkrouter some customers have returned their routers for just that reason, poor instructions.

I have raised this with the forum manager to take up with the relevant team.

Thanks Gliwmaeden2. TalkTalk really should include a clear instruction for customers not on full fibre. My first thought was that hub3 was only for full fibre and that I’d been sent it in error.

Use the Hub 3 exactly as you would Hub 1 or 2. Don't plug your telephone into the back of it as you don't have full fibre.

Landline and router should be set up as before, at your mastersocket, @Talkrouter.
