I have Fibre 35, which advertises up to 38mbps,  tests run today show upload speed of 13.3 and download speed of 0.84 what can I do to get enough speed to be able to use sky stream (which apparently needs at least 25mbps) ??

Morning,

Ok thanks for checking. I'd recommend live chatting our Loyalty Team as they will be able to check and confirm if there are any upgrades available for you.

Thanks

Sorry Michelle, have had a look and can’t see anything.

The only upgrade option seems to be to renew my existing contract ??

Morning,

Is FTTP currently showing as available for you in your My Account?

Thanks

Your line on FTTC  Fibre may not cope with an upgrade,  @Shada.

You might be better investigating a Full Fibre product.

But also be aware of admin fees if you upgrade mid contract.

Ask about all these factors. Today:

Have checked the contract info ( took an age to find 😂)

promised speed up to 19.2 mbps.  Looks like I need to upgrade my package ….

currently dashboard showing 15.0 upload speed so well within range.

Do you mean download 13.3 and upload 0.84?

These would be good enough if you were on Fast Broadband, but disappointing on your current package.

Check the guaranteed minimum speed for your contract (nothing to do with average speeds promised in advertising) and you can check the speeds for your line over the past week in My Connection, via Service Status Dashboard.

What was the minimum download speed promised on your package? If you log into the router, what speeds does it show in the internet connectivity area (often in the initial dashboard area)?
