My Talk Talk full fibre Internet has been down for 5 days.  I have been told there is a major outage at City Fibre.  There is no information about this on Talk Talk website, and I can find no sign of it on any local information or sites like downdetector.  Talk Talk webchat can tell me nothing and the status of my call has not been updated.  Does anyone else have problems in the Solihull area?

Hi @DavidS7

I have emailed a contact I have within TalkTalk and the issue of this CityFibre outage is being investigated. There won't be any more logs on here until tomorrow, unless my contact has found anything relating to the incident you have mentioned.

The TalkTalk support staff on this forum will not be back until Monday now. I have asked one of TalkTalk's support team to pick up your thread and investigate it for you on their return

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday), excluding Bank Holidays, but if more urgent, you can always try the Service Centre on 0345 172 0088. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number (TalkTalk Phone or Account number box )and, if possible, an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture and then clicking on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
