Slower since full fibre installed?

I upgraded to full fibre 150 from fibre 65, after a few installation issues, it all now seems to be running ok.

One thing I have noticed, when I use my phone on the Wi-Fi, there seems to be a time lag when I open up a new page or link, this was not evident on the previous 65 fibre. Even when scrolling, the pages take a little time to open.

I use Google Wi-Fi which is plugged into the Sagemcom router, it was plugged into a Netgear router previously.  I have disabled the Wi-Fi in the settings of the new router.  I have run numerous speed tests,  which shows speeds in the region of 147mbs, so no issues there.

I tried my phone, a Pixel 8 Pro, on my Mum's Wi-Fi, also TalkTalk fibre 65, and there was no time lags between pages or links.

Anyone have any ideas on why this should be happening?

I can provide a lot of help with this, but bear in mind that the specification of the Google WiFi that you gave me was only WiFi 5, whereas the Hub 3 is WiFi 6. Depending on the devices that you are using, this will give faster link speeds between the device & router as well as the latest WPA3 security mode. Hence why I suggested you try this first.

Due to a firmware bug in the Hub 3, the best way to re-enable the Hub's WiFi is to do a factory reset of the Hub.

What is the location of the Hub 3 in relation to the devices?

Not tried the WiFi from the router, as it is turned off via the settings, so as not to conflict with the Nest WiFi.

Just find it odd that it seemed fine with the old modem.

OK its a Google Nest, what happens if you disconnect this & connect the phone to the Sagemcom's WiFi?

It simply plugs into one of the Lan ports.  Here is a review, so you can see what it is.

Where can I find the IP addresses you want to look at?

Hi @dougan1963

Please can you explain the connection between the Sagemcom WiFi Hub 3 & this Google Wi-Fi device? Exactly what is connected to what? If you can supply (or PM me to preserve your privacy) any IP addresses involved between the two.
