For the past few weeks I have been unable to access some sites due to the connection being reset. After some troubleshooting, I've learnt it's a DNS issue on TalkTalk's end.
I have 2 connections at home, one with TalkTalk and another with Sky. Sky doesn't reset these site connections, so I knew it wasn't a browser / pc problem. Also experienced the issue on multiple browsers.
After adding a custom DNS (google's), I was able to access the sites again. This tells me it's an issue with TalkTalk and, therefore, needs fixed by yourselves. Other forum members have experienced the issue too, and they were told to clear cookies/cache. This won't work.
Can this please get escalated so we can use the IP's DNS automatically and not a custom one?

Happens on all devices. Tested on iOS and on a Samsung android tablet.
Look, Im not going to go back and forth on this. I've told you the problem in the first post and I've advised it needs escalated. It's a DNS error on TalkTalk's end and no troubleshooting I do can fix that. I'm ok using a manual DNS for now, but I won't want to rely on it all the time. Sky works fine (as I mentioned in my original post), its not a hardware issue on my end, its not a browser issue... it needs fixed by TalkTalk. I have manually added Google's DNS on my router which fixes every device, when I use the IP DNS (TalkTalk) every device fails to connect to these certain sites. There's nothing an end-user can do to fix this, it's a TalkTalk issue.

Please try using a different device to see if perhaps it's a device issue and confirm. Thanks

I have no ad-blockers active. No anti-virus either except Windows Defender.

I have just checked that too on my end, just to make sure if you have any ad blockers, please try deactivating them just to check if that's not the issue. Thanks

These are non-TalkTalk related sites.
Patreon links, Hotukdeals affiliate links, Google shopping links are all effected. ERR_CONNECTION_RESET is the browser error that gets returned.
