We were upgraded to full fibre on Monday 24th November. We can't connect to it because we are still waiting for the delivery of the router and the digital voice connector which we were told would be delivered 1-2 days before installation by Royal Mail or Yodel. Please can you help

Thank you

Thank you for your help, the router was delivered at 12md. The difference between the two routers is an extra socket that says Phone Digital Voice use when instructed, otherwise the router looks exactly the same apart from the new one has a bar code.

There are no indications whatsoever as to the make/model of the router and we have had it for quite a while. The engineer checked that the full fibre was working but agreed with me that we couldn't connect it to the router as we can't connect our home phone to it and we wouldn't have digital voice service, he agreed that we should wait for the delivery of the new router etc. but the router that was set to come two days before Mondays installation has still not arrived and that is our problem

Thanks again

Well there will be an indication , somewhere, usually on a label on the back? And if it has a red WAN port then you can connect that to the LAN port on the ONT using an ethernet cable. Otherwise, you have a very old router and I can only sympathise. But did the engineer who installed your Full Fibre service not check that all was working before they left?

There is no indication of make or model on the router and it doesn't have a socket to connect the new digital voice service for our phone

What is your existing router?

Does it not have a compatible input for the ethernet from your ont box in the meantime?

Which router do you have presently? You may be able to use that in the meantime.
