Although we’ve had caller display active on the account apparently it doesn’t work if you have CallSafe, which we did. Then TalkTalk started charging for CallSafe so we cancelled it. Caller Display didn’t work. I’ve spent hours and hours over 10 days trying to get this rectified to no avail. They said it was because the account wasn’t syncing with the add ons, said they’d do all kinds of tests and I had to unplug my phone, leave it a while then plug it in again, and was promised faithfully on 3 occasions that it would work by the end of the day. It ended up being an official complaint to which I received an email saying Caller Display was being phased out gradually - however, none of their “agents” were aware of this, they’d taken it off the account and then added it in again. I looked up on the internet and the information said it is not being phased out, in fact it’s still offered. I sent a screenshot to the person handling the complaint and now no- one will answer.

@Gilly51, have you tried plugging in a different phone, just in case there's something wrong with the display screen on the one you were trying to use?

Other than that, there's no help we can offer through the forum without Talktalk staff support on here.
You'll need to persevere through the official channels that you have already used.
