Since we moved over to talk talk a few weeks ago our home phone now does not work. Talk talk have said there is nothing they can do it’s not their problem we need to get a third party out to look at it!? Have no idea what we are meant to do? Regretting joining

So the telephone works  fine with just the telephone connected to the micro-filter but  as soon as you connect the router the telephone line goes dead?

I have tried to connect it with a splitter that came with the router and connected the phone and the router but only the router is working.

Hi richard,

So just to confirm, when the phone is connected at the test socket you have a dial tone and can make and receive calls? Could you try connecting the router to the test socket with the phone using a microfilter please.

Thanks

Michelle

Hi Richard,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems with your telephone service. Is there a dial tone or is the line completely dead?
