Landline not working for a week

I reported my landline not working Tues 11th.  Over the phone, after a few checks, I had a case number and an Openreach engineer appointment for Friday 14th in the morning. On Thursday 13th the phone returned and the engineer cancelled.  The next day (Friday 14th) the phone was dead again. I texted back to the engineer and they said they would keep the appointment. On the Fault timeline the appointment had changed to the afternoon 1-6pm.  No engineer came to us.  This was case ref  REP 16199350.

I checked this morning and all reference to the case on the fault timeline had disappeared.

This morning I phoned again and got a new case number (REP 16216333).  All online chat goes round in circles as the socket has been uncrewed and checked.

Please can someone help to resolve this and make an engineer appointment for us?
