Phone not recieving incoming calls

First phone was ok at 10am,then line went off during my call. 

Reported this online.

Now its letting me call out but not letting any incoming calls come through?

landlinenot recieving incoming calls,but spoke to technical services,fault on line sending engineer.

 

Also only issue not getting on talktalk online chat,no other probs with internet,I believe this is because talktalk upgrading things so just your talktalk site.All other internt service ok

Thank you for that information, please confirm if you are having issues with your landline only. 

Is your broadband giving you issues or it is only landline?

I rang my mobile this morning so can still phone out.

Then I rang my house phone from mobile and it rang,I hung up,rang again to see if other phone was ringing too,then it wouldnt ring again?

Phone house with husbands mobile said his name and pressed # button then it came back with line is busy? so still unable to accept incoming calls.

I have unplugged phones and router then re plugged in just phone in main socket and router on,but alas still not working?

Do you have any active monitoring for life threatening health reasons which is solely dependant upon your TalkTalk Broadband or Telephone line?

For example a care alarm, lifeline, health pendant or fall detector.

No but this is the number my father (92) uses to contact me.He doesn't use a mobile.

Also my elderley mother( who is recently widdowed and in poor health(at Present)uses this number to contact me in emergencies.
