Upgraded to Fibre150 now Home Phone not working

Hi I upgraded to Fibre 150 last Thursday.  I was told when my landline stopped working to unplug the phone and plug it into the Grandstream and it would work. It doesn’t.

 

I have checked the cables are in the correct ports and  are not loose.

 

The blue light on the Grandstream is not lit although it flickers when I pick the phone up.  I have a dialling tone but am unable to make or receive calls.

 

Any suggestions?

I have two blue lights, one at the top, the power light and the internet.  The internet seems to be working ok at the moment.

Morning,

 

Thanks for trying. So just to confirm, what lights are currently on the Grandstream adapter at the moment? Is it just the phone affected, does the broadband work ok? As soon as we have confirmed this then we can pass this over to our Faults Escalation Team.

Hi Michelle

i did try this yesterday and it didn’t work.

 

 I have tried it twice this morning, the first time while doing the reset the blue internet and telephone light flashed on and off. Once reset completed the internet went blue but nothing on the phone light.

second reset neither light flashed while doing reset.

Morning,

 

I'm sorry to hear this. Can you try the following, plug the DVA (grandstream) into the ONT, wait for the broadband light to come on then perform a pinhole reset of the DVA, this should get the phone light back on within about 5 mins, once that comes on can you change setup back to normal. Please let us know how you get on.
