Hi

If you are offered a two hour slot for a guaranteed TalkMobile call back, and they fail to call back, this is what happens :

 

1. You get an auotmated email minutes after the two hour failed timeslot

2. This email books a new slot without checking with you

3. Normally it is booked the next day

 

Some companies would just let you down, but with TalkMobile it hardly feels like a let down as they simply move on, look forward and without comment just book another timeslot.

 

I am glad my life is in their hands, they clearly know best and are delivering the kind of customer journey that their competitors must be puzzled and yet pleassed about.

 

If TalkMobile could make a car it would surely be the Austin Princess, known by rivals as  a " flyer" or the " flying ...."  such was their admiration.  Well done TalkMobile, you Rock!

My apologies having waited for two hours twice in 10 days and received no call back I mixed up the companies.  This is very much about TalkTalk!  On the upside if I say " TalkMobile" the post does not dissapear, but if I say TalkTalk if often gets removed, even for polite comments that suggest all is not well with the customer journey.

 

Here is a quick summary with photo of my TalkTalk Sim below

 

1. " Lost" my sim, claimed it was Talk Mobile, changed their minds but the working number was lost

2.  Seemingly lost notes from calls into Talk Talk, so much had to be repeated

3.  In the first week, over 4 hours on the phone to try and get a PAC number

4. Found in the second week that very complimentary North Korean style praise for TalkTalk kept a post up,  anything slightly negative brought the post down. I wonder why?

5. A booked two hour slot from the complaints manager never happened as sadly she had a serious accident the day before calling and was in hospital.  When I called in one person claimed she was in the building, but I am sure he was wrong.

6. Got a PAC code last week after 14 days for a number which TalkTalk claimed was not theirs, funny how they all realised it was, but tried so hard to tell me it was not.

7. More posts taken down from this platform, all polite, but a tad negative about the terrible service levels

8. A an agreement to call today between 10 and 12 noon. I added a day, so that rather than feeling rushed on Monday, they had another day to sort out this mess

9. No call on Tuesday between 10 and 12 noon, but an email at 3 minutes past 12 to tell me it would be tomorrow.  Simply amazing to see that level of hubris towards customers.

10. Issue not resolved, circa  8 solid hours over two weeks plus, mostly repeating the same thing.

 

Maybe calling Talk Mobile about Talk Talk would have yielded better results

TalkMobile has nothing to do with TalkTalk, it is quite a separate company owned by Vodafone.
