We’ve put together our sporting highlights coming up over the festive period and the match ups to look out for.

Who doesn’t love a fierce rivalry? The Reds of Liverpool take on the Reds of Manchester as Liverpool v Manchester United go head to head on Sunday 16th December at 4pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

The Carabao Cup provides us with another chance to see Arsenal face their North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. After the recent 4-2 win for Arsenal in the Premier League, who will bag bragging rights this time around? Catch the action on Sky Sports Football Wednesday 19th December at 7:45pm

If the old firm derby is the one for you Rangers v Celtic is live on Sky Sports Football 12:30pm Saturday 29th December. Former Liverpool colleagues Steven Gerrard and Brendan Rodgers meet as rival managers for what is sure to be a cracker of a game.

Early indications in the English premier league look like it will be a possible battle for the title between current champions Manchester City and Liverpool. The two teams face off on Thursday 3rd January at 8pm on Sky Sports Premier League.

The best of the best in the darts world step up to the oche in December to decide the champion at the PDC World Dart championship. With a bumper 96 players taking part this year instead of the usual 72, including two female players for the first time it’s sure to be a great championship. You can catch all the action on Sky Sports throughout the 16 day event from 13th December.

Not forgetting the Champions Cup which is packed with great games. We’ve picked out Saracens vs Cardiff Blues - 15th December 1pm as our game to watch. Saracens are currently first in the Premiership, and Cardiff recently won the Union Challenge Cup – another top game awaits us.
