On Monday 4th August 2025 large parts of Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland were hit by Storm Floris bringing strong winds and heavy rain.
This adverse weather has caused widespread power outages and travel disruption to those impacted areas.
Openreach have reported that their network has been affected by Storm Floris with damage to overhead cables and power related issues causing impact to their network.
Openreach engineers are working to restore service to those impacted areas as quickly and as safely as possible.
