I have a new TV box. I have no idea of what the buttons on it represent, apart from the obvious ones.  Why is there not a small diagram (manual) explaining, especially as there are so many different models.  Why as it's TalkTalk did I have to sign in to my google account?  The main reason I had a box in the first place was because, a couple of years ago my TV no longer supported the ITV hub & it was a bonus to be able to record.  The new box no longer records because accordingly, everyone  streams,  (except me) & new TV's have ITVX so I think I would have been better off buying a new TV.

Oh and if you do buy your own recordable box, which has all the popular apps, don't forget to phone and arrange to return the hub and get the monthly TV charge removed.

 

Over 2 years or less it will then pay for itself.
