Auto channel selection / WiFi Optimisation stop please

Hi TalkTalk people.

 

I did have wi-fi optimisation / auto channel selection turned off on my line a while ago, but after switching my router off and on recently I now notice that it's back on and getting in the way again on my line as my line will not stay where it was left.

Can you please turn this 'feature' off please as its very annoying and getting in the way of my internet experience.

Hi @Niftyandy99,

 

New firmware has been getting pushed out to the Sagemcom Wi-Fi Hub recently, when new firmware is applied it will switch Wi-Fi Optimisation back on, so that may be what has caused this to happen. The support team here will be able to switch it off for you again, they will hopefully be able to reply tomorrow.
