Troubleshooting

Your Prime Video service will continue uninterrupted during a home move. You can continue to enjoy it on a range of supported devices until your TalkTalk TV Box is set up at your new home.

If you see the message "sorry, we could not reach the Prime Video service" or something similar, this means that your connection to Prime Video has been lost. To get the connection up and running again simply follow these steps. It's worth checking the connection after each step has been completed.

  1. Check you can surf the internet.
  2. Switch off your TalkTalk TV box using the power button, wait 30 seconds and switch it back on again.

If you find your Prime Video player occasionally freezes or crashes during playback or browsing this is usually fixed by a quick reboot of your TalkTalk TV box.

You can simply restart your TalkTalk TV box by turning the power off, wait 30 seconds, then turn the power on again either using the power button on the front of the device or your remote control. Open the Prime Video player again and you should find this will have resolved your issue.

If you have trouble finding or launching the Prime Video player, please see Issues loading TV players for further support. For all other Prime Video help and support please see Prime Video Help.
