Yes - Because we're improving the security of our email, we will no longer be able to manually change your password. Please make sure you set up a recovery email address or add a mobile phone number, where we can send a reset code if you forget your password. Look out for instructions in the email.
We haven't changed this, so log in as you normally do, if you use Webmail you'll be redirected to the new TalkTalk Mail once it's been upgraded. We recommend using Webmail to get the full benefits of the new TalkTalk mail portal at https://webmail.talktalk.co.uk
If you use the calendar or the address book feature in a third party application on your computer, smartphone or tablet - it will not be affected by the upgrade.

However, some special settings like external accounts will not be carried over so you might need to do some additional configuration. We will tell you more once your TalkTalk Mail has been upgraded.

Important - If you use webmail and have filters set up or an email signature, you'll have to make a note of these as they will not be carried over.
Most Mail users will not need to do anything before the upgrade.
However, if you use the calendar feature of the current webmail, you will need to store or write down events as they will not be carried over to the new TalkTalk Mail.
