All copper based services have a landline, through which you receive potential phone calls, can make phone calls and which also carries your Broadband access, whether ordinary ADSL entirely copper, or Fibre to the Cabinet, which retains copper between the cabinet and your house.
Anything to do with phone calls from your landline: calls out; Voicemail; caller identity display; Callsafe etc etc...., @shahz.
