NHS calls on landline

Hello ... I have been charged £31 for calls on 01754 897000 and queued [for over half an hour] ... aren't they supposedly free?

01 numbers are chargeable.

If you have a phone anytime boost then they are not charged for but you pay a monthly fee for this.

 

Did you think you were on some special deal?

If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.
