Why have TT again changed the payment due date without my consent, or informing me prior to receiving my bill, so I can take the necessary action to enable my bank account to function and not be out of pocket due to two payments being made to TT in one month yet again. There is no point in me nominating a payment date (5th.) if TT are not going to honour it each month.

I did start my own thread and I only replied to a fellow customer here to alert them to the fact TT have chosen to make permanent changes to how some customers are billed without seemingly informing them of the change.

@Hotblack1, I'm sorry for the experience you have had with TalkTalk, and I can understand the frustration this can cause. If there is anything you would like for us to look into for you, you would need to start your own thread.

Hi Lasamarc - they pulled the same stunt with me but gave the excuse shown in the attached screen grab. The pair of us can't be the only 2 customers TT failed to notify!

Thanks for confirming your nominated payment date 5th and I’m really sorry you’ve had this experience again. I completely understand how frustrating and disruptive it is when a payment is taken earlier than expected, especially when it affects your monthly budgeting.
I’ve checked your account, and I can confirm that your preferred payment date is still set for the 5th of each month however sometimes due to the public holidays your bill date and payment date gets affected. If you look at the payment you made on 06/01/2026 this was for December payment hence another payment is due in the same month. My apologies once again we do try and send notice when the bill will be due.

Go ahead, you will find my payment due date 5th of each month as it has been for as long as I can remember.
