Switching to FTTP but no landline on offer

Hi,

I am currently  mid contract with a Fibre Broadband and Landline service. At present there is fibre in our street and it's available on Talk Talk upgrades. I would like to upgrade to full fibre, but in doing so I will lose my landline.  For a number of reasons, it is imperative I keep my existing landline (or rather my  phone number). Since TalkTalk would no  longer be able to provide me with  the service I originally  signed up for, I would therefore need to exit the existing contract and find a provider who can give me FTTP and a Call Package via digital phone service. (I believe there are currently only three companies that do this, ie BT, Sky and Vodafone.). under these circumstance can I terminate my existing contract  and seek another provider without incurring any financial penalties.

Please advise

Hi @oldbuffer1

Thanks for your post

I can look into this but first, can you please update your community profile to include:

Name

Telephone number or account number.

Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.

I wouldn't have thought so. If you want the support team to advise it will help if you make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
