Hi Peg,

Can you please update your community profile to include your:

  • Name
  • TalkTalk Telephone number
  • Alternative contact number

We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.

Thanks

Michelle

Your broadband service is dependent on your landline and that same bit of copper coming into your house, @Peg123, so removing it will leave you with nothing.

You could upgrade to Full Fibre to the premises and even ask to keep use of the phone number when you order, in case it's useful for incoming calls at least.

It doesn't cost extra to simply have it there - you'd be charged only for outgoing calls in the usual way / use a boost.

So no money is saved by simply not having it if you upgrade.

If you complete your community forum profile details staff may be able to check the line for you again to see why it messes up the Internet when the phone rings.

People have mentioned this problem before on here, so it's worth seeing if the solution can be found. Staff will be on here during the day Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week.
