Broadband speeds slow suddenly

A week ago, I have been getting 3-4mb/s download speeds. Whenever I download like a video, this is the speed I get. Now I'm getting around 1mb/s on all my devices? What solutions are there to fix this? This should not be happening and it is getting irritating as this happened before.

Please can you elaborate by answering these few questions:-

1. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)?
2. If you log into the router, what speeds does it show for the internet connection (normally in the initial dashboard area if a Wi-Fi hub)?
3. If you have any wired connections, are they affected in the same way as wireless ones?
