MY ROUTER HAS 4 DEVICES ON 2.4 AND 3 ON 5GHZ. I NOW HAVE A WIFI DOORBELL THAT CAN ONLY CONNECT TO 2.4 . HOW DO I FORCE IT TO CONNECT NOT TO BAND 2 THE 5GHZ AND GET IT TO CONNECT TO BAND1 2.4GHZ

Hi seamawr

My doorbell also connects on 2.4ghz, have you split the SSID's?

If it is only 2.4 GHz capable then there is no way it will try or be able to connect to the 5 GHz band.

Hi @seamawr I'm guessing you already tried and failed following the doorbell  instructions? If so best way is to temporarily disable the 5ghz in the router interface.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don't worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
