Does anyone else constantly have to restart their router?

I'm so sick of talktalk.
I've had my broadband with them since I moved into my house last October and it's always been really unreliable.
I seem to have to restart my router at least once a day. In between restarts the speed I'm getting gets slower and slower until it becomes completely unusable.
I assume this must be something wrong with the router itself as the speed is back to what I'd expect as soon as the restart is complete? I've tried to speak to talktalk via the chat system several times and they've never been any help. They just ask question after question and go around in circles until I run out of time and have to move on with my day!
Has anyone else had something similar happen? Do you think it's worth replacing the router and if so, with which one?

Hi,
Yes, well thanks. My internet speed seems to be much more stable since I started using the new router you sent. I've not had to restart it at all!
Hopefully problem solved.
Thanks for your help,
Simon

Hi Simon
Yes, your current router is a Huawei WIFI hub.
The Sagemcom WIFI hub is on its way, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with this router.
Thanks
Debbie

I was just looking to try and see what I've got now to make sure that isn't what I've already got.
I can see it says Huawei on the one I have now, so I assume this one is different?
If so, yes please that would be great.
Thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon
Thank you 🙂
Would you like me to send a Sagemcom WIFI hub to see how the connection compares?

Hi Simon
I'm really sorry to hear this.
Please can you add your name and TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile, we can then take a look at this for you.
Thanks
Debbie
