Hey,

When I upgraded to Fibre 65, my downstream line rate was about 65000 kbit/s. However, it has seemed to start going lower and i now at 56000 kbit/s. I have not moved the router since I upgraded.

Anyway I could get it back to 65000?

I don't have a phone line.

Thanks

hey,

I received a text from TalkTalk yesterday. They told me that they fixed and repaired the line at my home.

I restarted my router today and my speed is now back up to 63000.

Thanks Chris! Much appreciated

OK thanks. I've logged this out to BT Openreach as a non-appointed task. Openreach will investigate over the next 72 hours and may contact you directly if they need to access your home

I have the router plugged into the test socket.

I have 2 other sockets in my home. However, I am not sure if they work or not.

I cannot connect my router to the other 2 because there are no electric outlets near them.

Thanks

OK thanks. Line test is picking up a potential voice (telephone) fault. Is your router currently connected to your Test Socket?

How many telephone sockets do you have in your home?

Do you have a telephone handset that you can connect to your telephone socket to check for a dial tone and any noise on your line?

Hi IA003,

When you say that you don't have phone line, do you mean that you don't have a landline telephone connected?
