Me and my partner were moving in together. I didnt know she had a 24 month contract with talktalk so I set up virgin media at our new house. Once I found this out we were offered a good deal to stick with talktalk. Talktalk told us that once we cancelled with virgin media and were disconnected, they would connect within 2 hours, and we would be able to use our exisitng talktalk router.
Once virgin media disconnected. I waited. What I was promised did not happen. I called talktalk and after hours came to the conclusion these were empty promises. I was told I would have to start a new account for our new address and wait 2 weeks for a new router and to be connected. I currently have no broadband at all for 2 weeks.
This took approximately 4 hours worth of phone calls to not get the outcome talktalk themselves told me would happen.
Awful customer service. Once this contract has ended I will never return.
