No micro filter or broadband cable in box with router.

Engineer due first thing on Monday morning.

Will he have these parts with him to complete my new installation?

@Rowdy65 ,

What package have you ordered?

If it is a g.fast or full fibre service, the engineer will install a separate modem/ONT to which the router will be connected with an ethernet cable. If that is the case then you may not need the missing parts.

Hi @Rowdy65,

 

The staff won't be back here until Monday. If the engineer is coming to install a line / socket then he will be able to install that and test it with his own equipment, but obviously until you get the missing parts you won't be able to connect your router.

 

For one of the TalkTalk staff on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include your name, landline telephone number that your TalkTalk service is to be provided on (should be shown in 'My Account') & an alternative contact number. This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.

 

Don't post any personal details in this thread, just add them to your community profile (only you and the TalkTalk staff on this community can see your profile details).

 

You could always source a microfilter and RJ11 cable yourself if you wanted to get things up and running before the staff here can get these items to you.
