Frequent loss of internet

I keep lising internet. Only way to get service back is by router reset. Service is restored sometimes for a few hours other times just minutes. When it does work it is usually very good and all connected devices perform well. The maximum speed I get doing a test is 7mbps even when all is working well. I am supposed to be guaranteed 10mbps by talktalk.

I gave been through the service centre many times dealing with the robots on the other end and performed all their silly tests nans times even had a £50 engineer visit but still have the same loss of service issue. I am not an expert but I think the router must be at fault. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Gp-elect

Sorry for the delay.

I've completed a line test which hasn't detected any faults. Are you happy for me to send a replacement router for testing?

Thanks

Hi @Gp-elect which router do you have.? Your post has been escalated and you should hear tomorrow from the excellent team here.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don't worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
