Future of copper broadband

I have to decide whether to renew my broadband contract in October. I live in an area where there is no access to fibre and BT has no current plans to install it, so I have a basic copper-based system. In view of the possible turning off of the copper lines before the end of my new contract. Should I consider transferring now to the only available 5g broadband from Three?

Your regular copper based broadband will not be disconnected until such time as fibre is available to you. Are there no suppliers other than Openreach operating in your area? 

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries.
