I want to install a Ring doorbell but Wi-fi does not reach outside the front door.

Great! The aim of the Wi-Fi extender kit is to improve the overall Wi-Fi experience for customers and allow them to enjoy seamless connectivity in every corner of their home.
1) Tackle your home's Wi-Fi weak spots — Homes come in all shapes and sizes and routers can find it difficult to get their Wi-Fi signals into every room, the result of this is that users cannot reliably connect to the Internet on their device and browse the Internet, stream media, make video calls etc. Our Wi-Fi Extender Kits help with that, by extending your Wi-Fi to your weak-spots.
2) Wi-Fi, when and where you want it — The Wi-Fi Extender Kit can be placed wherever you want to be able to use Wi-Fi, this could be your loft, garage, garden or anywhere that you cannot currently get Wi-Fi
3) Plug-and-play setup — If you're a TalkTalk customer, our Wi-Fi Extender Kits are incredibly simple to set up - just plug them in and turn them on
4) Support for TalkTalk TV and games console — The Ethernet port on the device allows for TalkTalk TV box and games consoles to be attached
The TalkTalk Wi-Fi Extender costs £85 but is available to TalkTalk customers for £55 including VAT and delivery. Customers will be charged for the device in their next bill.

OK. thanks for clarifying. I am not sure if TalkTalk provide wifi extenders for this, but the support team will advise further. Can you not relocate the router at all? Otherwise, there are third-party options available to purchase.

Thanks. The speed's not the issue: 37Mbps through the house. The problem is the distance from the router to the door and the fact there are two walls inbetween. In my hall I have a middle wifi signal on my mobile phone, which is OK, but when I put my phone on the wall outside where I would place a doorbell the signal disappears totally. The wall is pretty thick and blocks the whole signal.

How are you testing this? A wireless doorbell doesn't need much of a signal, anything above 2Mbps should do it. What are speed and coverage results around your home generally?
