Incorrect service address

Talktalk has entered my address incorrectly.  Instead of Flat 2, 15 High St, it's 2 High St.  I have been trying to get them to change it for 6 weeks, but all they do is fob me off and say it's "now updated".  When I then log in, I see the same address.  One agent told me my correspondence address is correct (which I can't test because they have nothing to send me), but my service address cannot be changed due to software limitations.  I have an open complaint but no-one is dealing with it.  Any tips on how to force Talktalk to provide me with a correct account before I change ISP?  Thank you.

TalkTalk can send an ORDI request to Openreach to make sure that your address matches that on their database, which is the most important thing when it comes to switching ISPs.

I agree, they SHOULD be able to correct this for me.  And they all tell me they have, but it stays the same. I have probably spoken to most of them by now.

I have done as you requested, please advise how this will help.

Please complete your community forum profile details, @Veronicata, for Talktalk staff to identify your account. 

 

Go via your avatar/name; settings. Add your Talktalk phone number or account number in Personal Information. Lower down in Private Notes add your home address exactly as it should show in Talktalk's records / My Account. Scroll down further to SAVE CHANGES. 

 

Talktalk staff should be able to correct this for you  - they are on here during the day, Monday to Friday.
