Intermittent loss of connection

For the last 2 days my router has been losing internet connection. I spent ages on live chart who were really unhelpful. They tested my line and said everything was fine. I explained repeatedly that in was an intermittent fault which cleared when powered off and on again. They refused to supply a free replacement router and instead tried to sell me upgrades or a new router for £60. The questions were really frustrating like is there something in front of your router etc. I’ve not changed anything devices or moved the router. Hoping someone can help or I’ll need to purchase a new router from elsewhere and probably look to change provider after 15 plus years with talktalk.

I'm sorry to hear this.

 

The line tests are clear. I've ordered a replacement router, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

 

Let us know how the connection compares with this router.
