The router LED is flashing orange.
Seems to be similar to previous faults on my line which occurred at the exchange.
Phoned customer support and the automatic line check returned okay. Was sent an email which provided a chat link which is pointless as I am unable to access the internet at home (I'm currently in the library).
Tried hard resetting the router.
Gave up trying to speak to someone at TalkTalk yesterday as no one was answering.
My home phone and mobile number are in my profile if someone can contact me, I should be home from 11am today.

Same issue here I haven't had internet for 8 days it's ruining Christmas for all the family it's a absolute joke been a customer 20 +years not much longer

The Openreach ticket just shows engineer dispatched, the fault hasn't been closed so there is still a possibility that the engineer will show up

My internet came back about 30 minutes ago, just before 12. Not sure what to do now as the OpenReach engineer is still booked from between 1 and 6. I assume OpenReach fixed a fault at the exchange. Should I expect a call from them still? There's no update on my account and there doesn't seem to be a chat link that I can use to chat with someone online (as I did when I booked the engineer). I might try ringing customer support again.

Got an OpenReach engineer booked for tomorrow afternoon, hopefully they will resolve the issue

Thanks for the updates. I managed to get through to customer service yesterday afternoon and they detected the fault. They spent quite a while talking with OpenReach to resolve it, seems to be somewhere between the exchange and my property. At the moment I'm in the library trying to book an OpenReach engineer to visit my property.

Good morning,
I'm sorry to hear this and I'll take a look now. I've run a test on the line which has detected a potential external line fault so I've passed this over to Openreach now to complete an external line investigation. I'll re-check the fault again this afternoon to see if we have received an update back.
