Router Password

Hi

I am now unable to connect any new devices to my wifi  due to my password being lost. Router is a HG 533 and I discovered my daughter had thrown away the removable tab and peeled off the label on the router itself. How do I find or reset password, any ideas would be appreciated. I have the wifi name of the router on my devices already connected.

I believe the router login and password for your ancient router are both admin in lowercase.

If you have a device already connected log in via a browser at 192.168.1.1 with the above details and navigate to the WiFi setting page, the WiFi password should be available to view, you may have to tick a box to see it.

Best to do it using a computer connected via LAN cable.
