I'm unable to log into cisco secure client and understand from previous messages I need an update done to my router.

Please can you check it, if you just go to the router login page (192.168.1.1), you do not need to log in at all. The version number, probably ending in 202 is shown near the bottom left of the page.

I have no idea. It was fine Friday but not Saturday.

What make/model of router are you using & what firmware is it running? Assuming it is a Sagemcom, this bug was introduced in firmware V202, but has subsequently been fixed in V206. This is currently being rolled out to all of these routers currently.
