Since 10 am today, I have not been able to connect to World of Tanks console, Wargamings servers, after their game update. I have done all restarts, factory resets and DNS changes. No resolution has been made. After speaking with many other TalkTalk customers, on the same game via discord chat, we have come to the conclusion that there is a communication issue between the TalkTalk and Wargaming servers. Thanks, I have tried talking to many live chat agents to no avail. Thanks, I hope this gets sorted soon.

Change provider? I sadly cannot, as I have signed a new contract quite recently.

It's good to know it's been fixed. Every Tuesday there is an update. This has happened many times before, according to Wargaming staff. Can TalkTalk also add a query, within live chat for gaming related issues? Something like this should not take this long to resolve, in this day and age. It's also incredibly insulting and wastes time doing factory resets on end users hardware. Improvements definitely need to be made.

Hi @Reddevil86
Glad this is fixed for you, it was raised to our networks, so I've not seen a reply as yet to confirm what has been done.
If others can retest this afternoon and see if t is working for them that would be great.
Thanks
Karl.

I have no idea what I'm doing with CMD.

Hi @Reddevil86
That is because I have no idea what devices you have.
Take a Windows PC for example, if you have one & go to the command prompt. Then enter this command:-
tracert wargaming.com (or whatever its server address is) and press the enter key.
Wait until the tracert returns you to the command prompt and then copy & paste the output into your reply.
If you do not have a PC, what other devices do you have?

Surely that's an easy fix for talk talk?
on 12-02-2025 01:12 PM
We are but simple gamers, my friend. That sounds a bit too technical for the likes of me. I did try clearing cache, reinstalled game data, changed DNS values, hardwire ethernet cable, all to no avail.

Thanks for posting this. So I'm not going crazy. I'm in the same situation and thought it was hardware this end. Not been able to play since Monday 11th all while my premium time ticks down. Frustrating.

The service is blacklisted. According to Wargaming, it happens many times.
on 12-02-2025 12:52 PM
You haven't explained how. The service is still not working. Wargaming staff believe that TalkTalk have blacklisted the service, unknowingly.

You can use any device that you might have that can do a trace route. It is just the best way to identify where the problem is.

Hi @Reddevil86
I've asked our Network Team to take a look at this to see if there are any reported issues.
Thanks

How would I possibly trace a route to any server, on an Xbox console?
on 11-02-2025 10:15 PM
Please can you try a trace route to these servers & paste the output in your reply?
Thanks.
