Door to door salesperson got me to ring the number and they tried to get me to move to talk talk and said 3 months free + free setup + free router mesh. Pretty sure it was a scam
Recorded message that said two unusual transactions had been made on my credit card - to Amazon and a money transfer company. Press 1 to connect to their staff to stop the transactions. I pressed nothing and the caller hung up. A scam to steal personal information.
Stated they were calling from the Housing Council Association and asked if I had any repairs needing done. I live in Belfast in a non council house. Asked them why they were ringing me and was told because of outstanding repairs. Told them it wasn’t a council house and hung up immediately.
Caller stated my BT Broadband was due for renewal.I hung up as I don't have BT
I just rang D&G as we do have insurance with them. They do not know the number and the agent said it's definitely a Rouge trader. Do not give them any info and if you have, tell D&G right away about the situation. If you gave them nothing, just block the number
Had a call 13.25 called claiming to be from talk talk and going to disconnect account wife took the call,going to call back when account holder at home is this a genuine talk talk number
Robotic recorded message allegedly from HMRC suggesting an error in my tax file and I could be prosecuted. Didn't think this was genuine
man claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse offering me a new iPhone 13 for £30 a month
Called to say he was from Virgin (I am not with them) and that on May 1st Virgin and Sky had amalgamated. He warned that all my devices were under threat of hack (what's new?) and that I had a problem. In the end I agreed I had a problem and said the problem was him. After a few seconds he hung up.
