I have a live talktalk broadband account, but had received several emails warning that I needed to subscribe to Everymail. I contacted TalkTalk twice using facebook messenger, and was assured on both occasions that I would not loose my ability to send mail, and need take no action. This morning I discovered that I HAD lost the ability to "send" mail, as has my wife. I subsequently spent a long time using messenger AGAIN, and was told that a "form" has now been filled in (no explanation offered as to which form or why), and it was now up to TALKTALK back office to re-instate the service. They could NOT provide me with a timescale for this to happen.
This is exceptionally poor service in my opinion. I should not have been blocked in the first place. I deeply regret renewing my broadband contract with such a shambolic company
