We have been Talktalk customers for many years and are continually receiving emails telling us to click on the link to upgrade to a new version of webmail. The source of the emails is always different and doesn't look legitimate. This is the latest

We inform you that your email *******@tiscali.co.uk will be closed on  02/12/2025   because you have been ignoring all our update messages that we send you.

If you wish to continue using this email, please upgrade now to continue using our service.  Update to our latest version now

LINK REMOVED

Warning: If this message is ignored, the email will be closed without your approval.

Is this yet another scam or do we need to take some action? Thanks

I am still receiving emails telling me we are not on the correct email version and our account will be deleted if we do not upgrade. Is there any way we can check that we are on the correct version? nothing has changed at our end and it is suitable for our needs.

Yes, you can block and report the emails. If there aren't any restrictions on your emails these are not emails from EveryMail from TalkTalk.

Hi Phil, I sent that particular email to phishing as suggested. I am still receiving emails ok at the moment but I had the following which is similar to ones received before.  I guess I just keep sending these to the phishing@talktalk.co.uk

Thanks for your help

Hi there @suensteve advise if you had followed the instructions provided by @ferguson?

Are your emails still functioning as normal?

@suensteve

Report the email to TalkTalk as advised here. Then permanently delete it.

Hi, @suensteve

What @Gliwmaeden2 meant is the following :

Go to your TalkTalk Community Profile area at, https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info

Scroll down,

You will see a field called 'Private Notes'

Enter all your email addresses in a list, within Private Notes area

@Gliwmaeden2  has already deleted your live link in this thread. You don't need to do anything in that regard.

I am sorry, I am new to this. I cannot see anywhere to put any associated email numbers on my profile. Also I have not been able to remove the live link from the problem email

Please complete your community forum profile details, @suensteve.

Go via your avatar; settings.  Complete Personal Information. Further down that area, add all your Talktalk associated email addresses in Private Notes for staff to check the situation for you during the week. Legacy email addresses have not always been correctly associated with current broadband users' accounts.

SAVE CHANGES after completing the details.

Despite those emails being phishing scams, it's worth getting this checked.

@suensteve

Not a good idea to post that live link!

There are no staff on here before Monday.
