Today I’ve been unable to access my email account. It states that the password is incorrect even though I’ve not changed it.
I have no recovery email set up. When I’ve gone into reset my account it is allowing me to verify my account with a code sent to my phone. When I put in a new password I get that message. This is beyond frustrating. I’ve been onto live chat with no end result - to await a callback
My problem is I need to send my timesheet to work tomorrow and I’m now unable
Anyone any ideas on how to access my account

@Ayrgirl, there's a new team on forum support.
I'll flag up that the email section needs more attention.
Please don't post on other customers' threads for the same issue - that doesn't help anybody get help any quicker, as it actually slows down the progress of the thread in the workflow.

You'll probably find that bits of paper arrive now and then from Talktalk, @Ayrgirl, but, phew, you've managed to get into My Account!
Thanks for updating your details. Staff will now be able to identify your account when they are on here from tomorrow. They respond during the day, Monday to Friday, so keep a look out for them replies.
Any notifications will be from No Reply address, so follow up in the thread.

Managed to get back into My account. Have added account number onto profile
I have nothing on paper as account is from many many years ago as joined when it was tiscali 🙈

@Ayrgirl, your account number is referenced in every email you ever received with your billing notification. Have you got any copies of these, other than actually in that inbox?
Might be in initial paperwork or anything on paper from Talktalk - they do send paper copies when a new contract has been set up.

Hi,
I no longer have a talk talk telephone number, only use for email
I now can’t get into MyAccount to get my customer number. I have a Google Mail account which I could probably use if necessary
I was able to access email yesterday. Phone updated overnight to latest software update however I also can’t access on laptop so don’t think it’s a phone issue

For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.
Can you also please put your email address that is affected in the private notes field.
If your account has been compromised it could take a few days to regain access.
Do you have an alternative, free, email such as Gmail or Hotmail you could use to send your time sheet in? If not it may be an idea to set one up for this and also as a recovery email address.
If you do have one, add this to you private notes with a request to please use this as a recovery email.
Also put you mobile number in this field to so it can be used for the same purpose.
Do not place any of this personal info on this thread for security reasons.
