I don't have access currently to talk talk email on my mobile. I had a message requiring me to reconnect but have been unsuccessful trying to reconnect.  I have tried to reinstall talk talk mail and get an error message "no password provided" when I have typed in passwords for both the incoming and outgoing server where prompted to do so.  Please help to sort out this issue.

The email you received was probably a spam email and if you clicked on the link and provided the information asked for you will have given access to your account to scammers.

They are probably now using your account to send out even more emails to unsuspecting people.

Sign into TalkTalk webmail if you are able to do so and change your password to something you have not previously used.

If you cannot do this, try the forgotten password link. If you have set your recover email information up you may be able to get a link to enable you to recover your account.

Failing that, you could try contacting TalkTalk by phone.

Try phoning 0345 172 0088

Or if you wish to wait for staff here to respond (bear in mind there is reduced staff working over the holiday period and the work normal office hours Monday to Friday normally), you are in the their queue for a response.
For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.

Please Aldo add the affected email addresses to the private notes field.

Please post back when done and also let us know if you contact TalkTalk on the phone.

Thank you
