I have an email telling me I need to update my profile. It implies that we will be charged per month. I updated my profile on our tiscali account some time ago but I can't find the note section in the profile account. The address with the notification is attached to the main account.

Please do not click on the link that was sent to you. Is there a sign up option when you login your email account?

I understand and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. As you have an active account with us, you do not need to subscribe to Everymail. The email address must have been incorrectly classified as an orphan account, hence you are receiving that communication. I will need to fill in a form for you. Just to confirm have you listed all your TalkTalk email addresses on private notes?

We have checked our main account and the additional email address appears in the 'note' section. Our account with TalkTalk is current until July. Everymail say we will lose the secondary email account unless we  click on its link to update our profile. We are afraid this might be a scam or do something we are not happy with. As we have an up to date TalkTalk account what should be happening?
