Ask us about your TalkTalk email account and Webmail.

Hi,
I was a TalkTalk broadband customer and after 2 years from leaving I subscribed to a TalkTalk Mail Plus account at £50 per year, to retain my family's 5 email accounts.
I have now received an email from TalkTalk telling me to subscribe to Everymail by a set deadline later this month.
Is this as simple as subscribing to Everymail at £50 annually, using my own personal primary TalkTalk email address, which will pick up on and retain my 5 existing family TalkTalk email addresses?
Or will Everymail only retain my 1 primary email address?
What will happen with my existing £50 annual subscription to TalkTalk mail plus?
I have also tried today to manage my TalkTalk Mail Plus account using the iPhone app and it appears I can't login, when I try to reset my forgotten password it gives an error only. It may even be my annual subscription isn't currently active for some reason, but I have no way of knowing its status.
thanks
Philip

Unbelievable reply today from TalkTalk, as I had already submitted two official complaints by Friday of last week and last night sent a direct complaint to the TalkTalk CEO informing her of the complete shambles.
Here is a copy of the message today sent on private messages to me by the same TalkTalk staff I have already been dealing with.
It ha sbeen escalated by them three (3) times already with no change
"Kindly accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused, I understand how stressing and frustrating this is to you. You will need to lodge a formal complaint and it will be escalated; I will attach the link below. If you already have an open complaint you need to call our customer services department using the contact details below and ask to be transferred to a complaints manager.

As expected, TalkTalk have today completely FAILED to comply with the terms of my paid for TalkTalk Mail Plus contract to supply me with the full use of my 5 existing seperate email addresses and are now in BREACH of contract.
Four out of the five email addresses can no longer, as of today, SEND emails out and the addresses and contents will be completely deleted soon.
TalkTalk have had 4 weeks of notice from me to prevent this happening, through numerous telephone contact and over 50 messages here and in direct chat.
4 weeks of broken promises and passed deadlines and numerous 'escalations' all for nothing, with more than ample time for any competant company to have sorted it out to have prevented this.
I can see in the forum posts I am not the only customer affected.

done

Issue must have been the email addresses are linked to an old account. Please let me know once you have listed them on private messages.

Sounds like we are getting somewhere now Mandisa, this will be the 4th attempt in recent weeks to supply those other four email addresses and get them linked correctly to the Mail Plus account.
Your final sentence about TalkTalk mail plus customers not being migrated to Everymail is very welcome news
on 25-07-2025 05:43 PM
Can you please confirm the 4 email addresses via private messages, as you have not listed them on your private notes.
on 25-07-2025 05:36 PM
I have looked into accounts, and it seems, the 4 email addresses were linked to your old broadband account, hence you receiving communication regarding the migration, Your TalkTalk mail plus account only has 1 email address which I assume is your main email address. £50.00 was taken off your account on 23/07/2025. We will need to fill in the form again so that the back-office team can link these 4 email addresses to your TalkTalk mail account. TalkTalk mail plus customers have not been migrated over to Everymail

Thanks Mandisa can we also ignore the red banners on our 4 other, none primary, TT Mail Plus email addresses stating sending emails will end on 28th July 2025 unless we subscribe to Everymail?
on 25-07-2025 04:54 PM
Hey there @PhilipL We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. If you are an active TalkTalk mail plus customer I would advise you to ignore the communication for now, you do not need to subscribe to Everymail.

TalkTalk have directed me to Everymail support with a message 8 hours ago when I was at work.
Everymail support have now gone through all the support they can offer online, as I am not shown as a subscriber to them on their system, although they do have my primary TalkTalk email address registered on their system as TalkTalk had informed them of that.
Their Everymail subscription button takes me to TalkTalk Mail manager only and won't let me subscribe.
Everymail cannot speak to me with a human unless I am a subscriber.
Everymail have referred me back to TalkTalk support now as a TT customer.

I have just had it confirmed by the Forum Manager that you can have up to 5 email adresses on Everymail.
Perhaps you should be addressing this to Everymail for a solution rather than TalkTalk as TalkTalk will not have access to your Everymail account, only Mail Manager and if you've been migrated maybe this is the issue as the TalkTalk manager will not allow such changes.

@PhilipL, I have found this snippet on the Everymail site, and it does seem to refer to multiple email addresses being associated with one My Account.
We'll see if staff can shed further light on the situation tomorrow!

None of them have managed to implement it, beyond one email address, despite asking and being provided with the extra email addresses over past several weeks.
Tonight they tried to do it whilst I waited online in real time and they couldn't add any more than just the one.
They said they can't do it, it is not possible with Everymail they said.
I've just submitted a further new complaint and informed them I think they will potentially be in breach of contract if any of my 5 email addresses are restricted from being able to send emails from this Monday onwards.
From my own testing it does seem you can sign and subscribe for each separate email address on Everymail, but that would b e 5 x£50 annually, so £250 instead of £50.
When I told them that was outrageous, they said there was nothing more they could do.
on 24-07-2025 08:54 PM
The agent you spoke to may not have understood your question, @PhilipL.
The limit remains at 5 addresses.

URGENT: TalkTalk have just informed me on the telephone that Existing TalkTalk Mail Plus users with multiple email addresses will only be allowed ONE email address to be migrated over to Everymail.
I have asked them to inform all customers of this, but they are declining to do so leaving it up to individual customers to find out if they happen to contact them about the matter.
I'm flabbergasted, this is going to be a breach of contract as i'm paying TalkTalk for 5 current email addresses not ONE
The first deadline for stopping the sending of emails out is this Monday 28th July 2025
on 24-07-2025 04:54 PM
It is ridiculous that TalkTalk have removed the ability to even login to a TalkTalk Mail Plus account, which can only be accessed via the phone TT Mail Plus app, but you have disabled the app for everyone.

Kanya,
I've already made a complaint, it was reviewed yesterday, it is still ongoing. It was mentioned in Message 32 which you replied to already earlier today
on 24-07-2025 01:37 PM
We again apologize @PhilipL. And although we regret the inconvenience this has had, we do like afford an opportunity to make a complaint.
