Forwarded Emails

Many years ago I set up auto-forwarding from my Sky email account into my TalkTalk email account.

I want to stop the emails being forwarded into my TalkTalk account.

Sky is now Yahoo and no longer have an autoforwarding facility so I am unable to switch of the autoforwarding with Sky/Yahoo.

How do I do it with TalkTalk to stop these Sky emails coming into my TalkTalk account?

I have checked the autoforwarding link in my TalkTalk account and all I can see is another autoforwarding I set up. This is for my TalkTalk emails to go to another external account (not Sky)

I did contact Sky and Yahoo support first. They can't help because the "autoforwarding" facility no longer exists. They suggested I contact the provider the Sky emails are being forwarded too which is TalkTalk.

Yes, most addresses cease to function if you don't sign into them at all for 6 months.

It's something that needs sorting through Yahoo support, not Talktalk, if you have any questions about it, @molly84.

These emails have been forwarded for years and are continuing to date. I have had four emails forwarded today so far. I don't really use my Sky account much so I might actually close it and delete it to get a speedier solution.

@molly84, I have a Yahoo address which also stopped allowing forwarding. Unless you pay them for running the legacy address, they simply cease to forward the emails. They should just stop as the system catches up with your account.

You can't change the settings from the Talktalk end, other than blocking your own Sky address.
