We have been with Talktalk, formerly Tiscali. We have a tiscali email which we have had over 30 years. Thing is we have never been asked to pay anything in 30 years. Our contract runs out in January 2027 and we would hope to keep the same terms and conditions? Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to contact Talktalk directly for renewal within 90 days before the end of the minimum term, @SandraPaul.

Doing the renewal sooner can mean you get charged a change of contract admin fee. Leaving before the final month would incur an early termination fee.

However, if you are worried about losing your old email address just now, do contact them soon to ensure that they have a record that it is linked to your ongoing Broadband account. Only if you leave do you need to start paying to keep it, with Everymail, and there's a grace period after leaving before you really need to decide.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
