I am able to recieve emails but not to send them.The system fails to connect to the smtp server

I think the problem is with the connection box outside. I think some has done some work in there

and has not done a proper job.  I did have a similar problem just over 4 years ago and could not

connect to the internet. that time TalkTalk had to get an engineer from Openreach to fix it.

Hi GrahamWoodward, if you can receive emails, but not send its going to be the email settings. If it were your line into the house both would be affected.
