I want to delete a talktalk.net email address

I want to delete a talktalk.net email address I do not use anymore.

I have messaged Ady-TalkTalk directly but since realised he may not be at work, even on holiday, so thought I'd better put on here as well, can someone from talktalk please help.Thank you Grandpa1

Hi I have tried two of my talktalk.net email addresses but it says its wrong.

So, @Grandpa1, are you now able to access the new 'Mailbox Manager'

via  https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/?#/dashboard

with one of your TalkTalk email addresses, and so delete the email address you wanted to delete?

Correct, @ferguson . That article has one or two links to the 'TalkTalk Mailbox' address I already gave above.

'The app which is called TalkTalk Mail', will take one to exactly the same place as the TalkTalk webmail address I gave above, @ferguson , not to 'TalkTalk Mailbox'.

OK, @Grandpa1 

You are correct about the old 'Talktalk Mailbox' e.g. 2 years.

However, this has been replaced with a new 'Talktalk Mailbox'.

One accesses this via https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/?#/dashboard

I was previously trying to draw this out from @angelique-TT 

But it is a shame that Open-Xchange has named this also as 'MyAccount'

Thank you all for trying to help but mailbox holding your email addresses has been under maintenance for approx two years and you have been unable to delete an email or make a new one, I've also found out today the mailbox at the bottom of your account page has been removed. It really needs someone who has knowledge of this on staff to answer. Thanks in advance.

Um, you can install it as an app which is called TalkTalk Mail.

All right, there are 4 links at the bottom of MyAccount (which one arrives at with https://service.talktalk.co.uk/myaccount/dashboard

The 4 links are: TV, Broadband & Calls | My Account |My Mail | Help

Only 2 of those are relevant

The 'My Account' one, which will take you a second time into MyAccount, 

and the 'My Mail' one, which will take you to My Mail, which is the TalkTalk webmail address, that I referred to above.

There is no 3rd address to take you to 'Mailbox Manager', @ferguson

I can't find "TalkTalk Mail", @angelique-TT . Do you mean TalkTalk webmail at https://apps.talktalk.co.uk/appsuite/ ?

Even if I or @Grandpa1 goes to TalkTalk webmail, there isn't a link to go to "TalkTalk Mailbox"

It would be helpful if @Grandpa1 was given the address of the "TalkTalk Mailbox"

Thank you @Billx . I have checked this out. @Grandpa1 please note that the deleted mailbox cannot be recovered or undeleted. Mail in a deleted mailbox is gone forever. You can use the below steps :

1.Open TalkTalk Mail

2. Select Mailbox Manager

3.Select a Mailbox

4. Select Delete Mailbox

5. You will need to type in the mailbox you need to delete and once done select delete.

I think you have given @Grandpa1 old instructions.

TalkTalk Mailbox no longer comes under MyAccount. That was the old TalkTalk Mailbox, and in which one could not delete any email address. You should give @Grandpa1 the address of the new "TalkTalk Mailbox"

Hi @Grandpa1. You are able to delete this email address on My Account using the below steps : 

1. Log into My Account

2. Select Menu

3. Select Profile & Settings

4. Select My Details & Passwords

5. Select TalkTalk Mailbox

5. View Your mailboxes, at this point it will show your active email addresses, and you can remove the one you no longer use from there.
