Hi,

Since yesterday I can receive my dsl.pipex.com emails in outlook or iphone... I believe the settings have changed and I'm reasonably technical. The following is what I have done

1) I can log into web mail > showing that i've got the correct password

2) I've updated the settings in outlook for iMAP and POP3, i've tried both, and creating a new account. (i've used the setting issued out ssl/tls, port 993/995, mail.talktalk.net)

3) Outlook sends a test email successfully, I can see it in webmail

4) Outlook responds as  'your email server rejected your login' when it logs in

5) on the iphone it states password not supplied

So it sends, but doesn't log onto the incoming mail server, any ideas?

Hi Nick, you should find that your mailbox is now working normally.

No worries, don't mind waiting, just wasn't sure if it should be good now and it was my end not working... I will give it another day or so...

I've sent a chaser to the team to try and speed this up.

Hi Ady,

Just checking to see if I should expect things to be working now or not? Not sure if 48hrs is office hours or just time lapsed. I'm still not able to log in using the new settings.. My wife's account is all working with the new settings but mine isn't yet.

Thanks

Nick

Hi NickCox99, I've added your mailboxes to those to be restored to normal function. Please allow 48 hours for the change to complete.

Hi,

Looks like some of my pipex email boxed need 'restoration'. I've placed the details in my private profile information. Some of the mailboxes are still working (on the old settings), some are not, but I suspect they will all stop working at somepoint, especially when I move the settings over I guess.

Thanks for you help Ady!!
